Joanna has a general civil and commercial litigation practice, with experience assisting on matters before the Federal Court of Canada. Prior to joining 606 Essex Chambers, Joanna summered and articled at a large national law firm, where she gained experience in complex commercial disputes, including proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations, as well as trademark infringement and opposition proceedings.

Drawing on her background in both law and science, Joanna brings an analytical approach to complex disputes. Her experience working with highly technical subject matter enables her to efficiently assess evidence, identify key issues, and distill complex information into clear, accessible concepts.

Joanna is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
