Our founders are licensed to practice law in both British Columbia and the United States and have effectively represented clients in numerous business disputes and transactions in multiple jurisdictions. 

Our team members have diverse experiences and skills sets, which include: serving as a prosecutor for a state attorney’s office; working as a Certified Public Account at two Big Four accounting firms; and serving as general counsel to a private equity firm and playing a material role in developing the second tallest skyscraper in Taipei City. 

We achieve results for our clients. For example, recently:

• We litigated a property dispute between two religious organizations. After approximately six months of litigation, we obtained a $2.49 million settlement on behalf of our client while preserving the right to seek further damages from other co-defendants.
• We defended an international logistics company in a dispute involving cross-border shipping. After approximately four months of litigation, we successfully convinced the plaintiff to discontinue the action without any consideration from our client.
• We negotiated and obtained a six-figure settlement for a client in connection with a private loan where the client successfully recovered all her principal advanced with interest without undergoing any litigation.
• We represented a private lender in a complex, eight-figure loan transaction where our client also essentially received a call option to purchase certain real property.
