Isaac E. Shieh primarily practices civil and commercial litigation. He litigates a wide range of issues, including contractual disputes, company and shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, fraud, and negligence claims. He also specializes in litigating various types of fraud cases, including securities fraud, corporate fraud, forgery, and misappropriation. Isaac has assisted clients with matters adjudicated before various regulatory and administrative tribunals, and in all levels of court in British Columbia.
Isaac has practiced law for over 10 years in Canada and in the United States. In British Columbia, Isaac practiced in the Vancouver office of a prominent Western Canadian firm. In that role, he regularly advised and acted for a government regulatory agency in enforcement actions.
In the United States, Isaac served as a prosecutor for a state attorney general’s office where he investigated and prosecuted large criminal conspiracies in the organized crime bureau. In that role, Isaac supervised wiretap operations, presented numerous cases to State Grand Juries, and successfully conducted jury trials.
